Whether you're a small business or a business with a fluctuating or seasonal employee base, TransitChek offers simple administration and the flexibility to manage your employees’ ever-changing commuting needs. All you do is enter and submit your order using the online TransitChek Order Form and TransitChek products are delivered directly to your office for you to distribute directly to your employees.

Getting Started With TransitChek: Four Easy Steps

Offering TransitChek^® is easy and cost-effective. TransitChek allows you to offer a commuter benefits program without receipts to collect or mandatory enrollment dates. To make TransitChek part of your company's benefit package, simply:

1. Have your employees decide how much of their pretax salary they want to deduct toward the purchase of their TransitChek products - up to the monthly IRS allowable limits for transit and eligible vanpooling expenses and an additional amount for qualified parking expenses. You can distribute Employee Enrollment Forms for transit and parking, and a Transit Operators List to help employees make proper product selections.

2. Deduct the designated amount from each employee's salary before payroll taxes are applied.

3. Use the TransitChek Forms for the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago or New York Metro Area, to determine the number of transit products you will need. There are restrictions with certain products, so please read the order form carefully. Note: The TransitChek^® Parking Card, a prepaid Visa^® card, can only be ordered using the TransitChek online ordering system . 4. Once you receive your TransitChek products, distribute them directly to participating employees who can begin using them on transit eligible vanpool services, and participating parking facilities.

If you're offering TransitChek in addition to the employees' regular compensation - as a fringe benefit, reward or incentive - no payroll deduction is necessary.
